Preparation of studying abroad!!

I am going to New Zealand on 23 January!! These days I am preparing for studying abroad!! However I don't know what to do yet! Anyway I will write my host family and load my belongings into the suitcase......... as soon as possible.

Sheep World!!

This is "Sheep world."The content is shearing sheep or giving sheep milk etc. This show is held every day.You will enjoy seeing a lot of sheep anytime!!

4 seasons a day!!

It is said this country has 4 seasons a day. NZ is a wide range of temperature in a nutshell.
Even if you travel to NZ in summer, you have to bring fleeces or jackets.

Preventive measures of ultraviolet rays

New Zealand, is near the South Pole, is under strong ultraviolet rays. Ultraviolet rays of NZ are seven times as strong as those of Japan. So if you go to NZ in summer, you have to put on a hat and sunglasses to prevent from the sun. Also you had better wear long-sleeved shirts than normal T-shirts.

Auckland Museum

This museum, is the biggest in NZ, was established in 1852. In ground floor there are handiwork and weapons of Maori and Polynesian. In First floor it is exhibited stuffed specimen of birds of NZ. In top floor there are materials and weapons on war. If you visit this museum, you can see the history on NZ.

Sightseeing in Auckland! ~"SKy Tower"~

"Sky Tower" is 328m in height. It is the highest tower in the Southern Hemisphere and is one of tourist attractions in Auckland. There are many facilities of casinos, restaurants, theaters, cinemas and hotels.

Sightseeing in Auckland ~"Mt. Eden"

There are about 50 extinct volcanoes in Auckland. The tallest one of them is "Mt. Eden"(the altitude 196m) It is famous for one of tourist attractions. If you climb up the top of it, you can survey the panoramic view of the city. It is so wonderful. Also you'll feel comfortable with seeing cattle pastured around there.
